“The Earl” Axe Cheap Visit

This axe holds the pattern of that of a historical find; the Mammen axe. During the excavation of a grave in Mammen, Denmark, they found the remnants of a beautiful small axe with distinct etchings. The find was of such great important and elegance of design that many replicas are made today. 

“The Earl” has an intricate acid-etched full-polish head, hafted on a 60cm half charred length of English Ash. These axes are traditionally made, forged and innavidually hand-hammered, followed by hand-etching with age-old acid techniques; each axe head will be slightly unique.
